About Me

I am Dr. Olgun Sadık, a dedicated educator, researcher, and lifelong learner with a passion for advancing instructional technology. Currently, I serve as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. My academic journey includes earning both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, complemented by a Ph.D. minor in Inquiry Methodology.

My research focuses on computing and engineering education and the development of technology-enhanced learning environments, such as the integration of artificial intelligence in education and the utilization of maker spaces. I am particularly interested in exploring how generative AI can transform teaching and learning processes, making education more personalized and effective.

Beyond research, I am committed to teaching and service. I have designed and delivered courses that emphasize student-centered learning and real-world applications. Additionally, I actively participate in workshops and seminars aimed at empowering educators to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices.

This website serves as a platform to share my ongoing projects, publications, teaching materials, and insights into the evolving field of instructional technology. I invite you to explore the resources available and connect with me for potential collaborations.
